Dr. Jonathan Toso
Dr. Jonathan Toso is a Sioux City, Iowa native. He graduated from Augustana College and obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree in Chicago at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Toso has been practicing in Canton since 2002. He and his better half, Mary, have four children: Rebecca, Jacob, Matthew, and Elizabeth.
Dr. Toso is active in his profession and community. He has served on the Board of Directors for the South Dakota Optometric Society and several local boards, has been the President of the Canton Chamber of Commerce, and is currently serving a three year term on the Canton City Commission. Together he and his family worship at Canton Lutheran Church. Dr. Toso sponsors junior football teams, and has helped coach grade school basketball. |

Dorothy, Certified ParaOptometric Assistant
Dorothy has enjoyed 39 years in the optical profession. She is a current CPOA, and excels at frame selection. She also performs billing and insurance duties, as well as contact lens training. Patient interview and data collection are new responsibilities Dorothy has begun.
Dorothy and her husband Dave spend their free time enjoying her growing family of grandchildren: Kaden, Kenna, Karsynn, and Kalor. Dorothy is active in her church, and Love INC. She enjoys a good movie, but most of all, she enjoys Caribbean cruises. |

Laurie, Optician
Laurie joined our staff in 2001. She organizes lens and frame ordering. She inspects glasses orders upon arrival and helps with dispensing. Laurie assists in billing, insurance and patient pretesting. She also performs diagnostic tests.
Laurie enjoys camping, gardening, and time with her family. Laurie and her husband Dave have two grown sons, Darren and Jason.

Amy, Certified ParaOptometric
Amy joined the clinic staff in March 2008. She has a Bachelor of Science from DSU, and many years in the medical field. Amy spends time with the patients performing pretesting procedures, patient interview, diagnostic testing, contact lens training, medication review, and patient education.
Amy and her husband Doug have 3 sons, Samuel, Benjamin, and Joseph. Amy enjoys spending her spare time with family, traveling, gardening, and volunteering for St. Dominic Catholic Church.
